Depending on the requirements of your piece and your preferences, we carry out our renovation and upholstery work using either traditional or modern materials and techniques. We carefully assess your piece, make repairs to frames and joints and replace springs, stuffing and casters if necessary and then cover with top fabric and edging trim.
We supply replacement foam or feather inners and make up bespoke covers for window seats, floors or scatter cushions for beds, chairs or sofas. No shape or size is impossible – we can work with you to make seats or cushions that fit perfectly into your space
Hand caning is a specialist traditional craft. Our caner uses traditional materials to hand repair your piece and the cost will depend on the complexity of the pattern and amount of holes around the caned area. Some chairs are made using sheet cane and these can be stripped down and the cane replaced.
We can make up new headboards for single or double beds from scratch to a design and size of your choosing or we can strip and recover your existing one.
We’re happy to work with you if you want to supply your own fabric and will advise on suitability and fire and safety regulations. Alternatively at no extra cost to you we can help to simplify the process by sourcing and supplying fabric to ensure you find the perfect look for your piece.
We can clean, polish or paint the show wood using a variety of finishing effects for the perfect look. If the show wood on your piece needs attention we can simply clean and smarten it up for you or strip it entirely and finish it in different effects including waxing, polishing or painting to your specification.
