Opera Chaise

This bespoke piece was built especially for the Royal Opera House. We used unconventional materials including polystyrene to create a hard seat required for the dancers and light enough for ease of removal on and off stage. We covered the chaise longue in silver damask and matching braid. It was part of the stage set for the ballet Strapless featuring the international star Natalia Osipova.
